Wanted: 2-3 bedroom to upgrade

We are looking for a place where we can caretake and/or upgrade or fix up at reduced rent ‘cause we can’t afford the ridiculous rent prices and the house we are renting is under foreclosure due to the landlord not paying his bills even though we pay our bills early every month. We do not smoke, do drugs, drink or party. We fix up, (minor) repair and upgrade our environment by nature (can provide pictures). We have one vehicle. Two adults, one teen, two children & two cats (Kids & teen can share a room, bunk beds). ALL of which are well behaved and non destructive. We are an eco friendly family, lights off when not needed to see, heater off before opening windows, water runs only as needed not on the whole time brushing teeth etc. Father of the family works full time, mother homeschools the kids and is legally on PWD (disability). We usually pay rent early, on our payday before rent is due. Mother & teen are on PWD for mental disabilities and need to be primary tenants on rental agreement to receive benefits. (We claim everything and do EVERYTHING LEGALLY, for those who don’t know how it works: after my husband makes a certain amount we no longer receive financial benefits for the year BUT our medical is still covered.) We have our own washer, dryer and portable dishwasher. Father of the family is a certified faller who can run mills/equipment and we both have experience building things, he helped build his parents home and I worked at an apartment building as the secondary “landlord/repair/maintenance man” for 9 years. We both have fixed up a few rentals that sold at a significantly higher value after we moved out due to the work we have done. WE NEED to be able to get HIGH SPEED INTERNET hooked up for homeschooling. The home HAS to be in liveable condition, OBVIOUSLY we have kids❣️The deal MUST be fair, the more work we do the cheaper the rent we pay❣️Willing to relocate to anywhere in B.C. as long as we can get high speed internet.
