Truck is fun to drive, shifts like new. Since installation of re-manufactured injection pump engine operates unbelievable smooth.
This truck is one of the last 6.9's ever made it is identical to the early 7.3 idi's except for the cubic inch. There is a boost gauge and a pyrometer; I never go over 10 psi of boost and never run EGT over 900 degrees fahrenheit. You can hear the turbo whistle. This truck has loads of power and can modestly keep up to the rest of them. I am guessing, but after some research I believe this truck has 210HP and 390 ft/lbs torque. Installing an Inter-cooler would be an excellent up grade; Diesel engines like cold dense air.
currently getting 20MPG on highway. This is the engine that goes to a million kilometres.
