Emergency Response Worker

Emergency Response Worker Job Description Emergency Response Worker is a support interventionist and the heart of ENCAAS that support staff on a daily basis. Such as crisis management, staff scheduling, debriefing and client support. Working closely with professionals in the community such as RCMP, Northern Health, MCFD etc... The position will be located out of ENCAAS's main office for the duration of the shift with the ability to go and support other location as needed through the shift. Qualifications for Application Minimum 2 years Post-Secondary education in Child Care Diploma/Certificate or related University degree from a recognized, accredited academic institution and or Minimum of 2 years' experience in child and Child Care, or a combination of education and experience with street involved youth Minimum of 1 year experience in leadership, or a combination of education and experience with management Certification: 1st Aid including CPR C, Must have a valid BC Drivers license -Class 4 Driver's License or 5 willing to get Class 4, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Suicide Intervention, Food Safe,, proof of Immunization and TB testing. Must pass both MPSSG and Centralized Services Criminal Records Checks. Efficiently provide administrative and organizational skills. Ability to read/direct group dynamics in a non-intrusive and empowering manner. Ability to respect others (team &amp children/youth) point of view Ability to practice respectful conflict resolution and patience. Awareness of community services, resources and systems.
