You will support our strong service culture by encouraging branch staff to professionally demonstrate exceptional service to our membership and be leaders within our communities. Finally, your understanding of relevant regulatory and industry information will play a critical part in your leadership mandate, as will your knowledge of lending practices and risk management strategies. The Branch Manager selection process will assess candidates to identify those who have the ideal competencies and personal characteristics required for success in a branch leadership position. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of progressive leadership, business development, and employee development experience, ideally gained within the financial services industry. As well, they will have advanced knowledge of consumer and mortgage lending and relevant post-secondary education (or equivalent). Leadership development training is considered an asset. Key Responsibilities * Leadership and Development: Mentor and coach staff, manage performance effectively, facilitate recruitment and career advancement. * Operational Excellence: Ensure exceptional member experience, cultivate service and sales culture, manage budgets and mitigate risks. * Community Engagement: Maintain stakeholder relationships, resolve member complaints, support branch initiatives. * Professional Competencies: Drive member-centric culture, expertise in retail lending and risk management, utilize banking systems efficiently, demonstrate strong leadership and relationship-building skills. Qualifications * An equivalent combination of education and experience showcasing proficiency in business administration, financial analysis, and leadership. * 3+ years of experience in retail lending. * 2+ years of experience in a management position.
